London, London and again London. One of my favorite European cities. If you have chance to visit it I suggest you to visit his museums and galleries and amazing royal parks. The best tips for weekend time is to reserve this time for chilling out with friends and have picnic in one of the many amazing parks. List of the parks is really big but I suggest you to check the Hyde Park which covers 350 acres and is home to a number of famous landmarks including the Serpentine Lake, Speaker`s Corner and the Diana, Princess of the Wales Memorial Fountain. This park also offers various recreational activities including open water swimming, boating, cycling, tennis and horse riding.Another choice is very near. Kensington Gardens is place you Must visit and includes Amazing lake and Kensington palace, Italian Gardens ,and breathtaking The Albert Memorial.
The Albert Memorial is something special, located in Kensington Gardens on Albert Memorial Road opposite the Royal Albert Hall and it is one of London`s most ornate monuments, designed by George Gilbert Scott. Marble figures representing Europe, Asia, Africa and America stand at each corner of the memorial, and higher up are further figures representing manufacture, commerce, agriculture and engineering.Yet further up, near the top, are gilded bronze statues of the angels and virtuesAll around the base of the memorial the Parnassus frieze depicts celebrated painters, poets, sculptors, musicians and architects, reflecting Albert`s enhusiasm for the arts.
Next station is world famouse Notting Hill and Portobello Road.Notting Hill is a cosmopolitan district known as the location for the annual Notting Hill Carnival and Portobello Road Market one of the London`s notable street markets, known for its second-hand clothes and antiques. And ofcourse there is a romantic movie settled in Notting Hill so you can just enjoy atmosphere of the famous neighborhood or find something cool in old shops. My day was perfect so lets start with the pictures..
