Italian culture is so deeply soaked in an appreciation of the good things in life.
"Life is combination of magic and pasta"
Federico Fellini
Rome is one of my favorite cities in the Europe. We all know the big players here: the Colosseum, the Vatican, the pasta, pizza and gelato. But having an extended period of time in this capital city has provided incredible memories and off-the-beaten-path experiences.
Walking in Rome is really spectacular. I love to walk and discover the architecture, take pictures and find places you wan`t see in guides. Since you’re basically living inside of a museum, for me it doesn't make sense to pass up an opportunity to stumble upon something amazing by jumping in cabs everywhere you want to go. Take your comfy shoes and stylish outfit because you are in a very fashionable country and enjoy your day.
My favorite thing about visiting any city is finding little things that make me feel like I’m not a tourist. Small coffe shops with delicious coffe, deli stores with amazing cheese and discovering the local life make everything so much more intresting and make unforgetable memories.
Whether you have one or three days or 30, it’s impossible to see everything. But I hope I will show how this city is magical!
With love,
Ivana
