Festive Season in Basel Switzerland 🇨🇭

Basel is Switzerland`s third-largest city and it is nestled ond the Rhine river. Home to 40 museums, the city of culture for connoisseurs has the highest concentration of museums in the country. Basel also has a beautiful Old Town, modern architecture, and the Rhine – an inviting spot to rest a while. Also it is the oldest university city. This is my list why you should visit Basel at least once (I am here for the 3rd time <3):
It has a great art scene.
This town is a home to some fantastic food markets.
Basel has the Switzerland`s biggest festival Fascnacht.
Roger Federer was born here.
Basel`s zoo is one of the biggest also this city has arround 300 days of sunshine every single year.
It has great museums and the architecture of the city is amazing. History of this city is written in the streets of its old town. 
Basel is home of the best theaters in the country and Basel knows how to celebrate Christmas.
Basel sits right on the corner of Switzerland, France and Germany (Basel airport is actually in France). So after you’ve explored the city, you can easily access the rest of central Europe by plane, train or whatever mode of transport you prefer.
